Christmas City Walkway of Lights has been expanded from Matter Park into Ballard Field in Marion.
New in 2023!

All month long, make sure to include Christmas City Walkway of Lights in your family traditions. Every year, this illumination destination gets bigger and brighter! New in 2023, tune in to Holly Jolly Radio and make your experience even more magical with Christmas Music synchronized to the light displays. The Walkway of Lights in Marion Indiana is located in Matter Park and goes well beyond light displays you’ve seen elsewhere. With nearly 3 million sparkling lights, over 130 themed displays and a small $5 carload fee, Walkway of Lights is well worth the drive. Feeling like getting festive on your feet? You can walk and experience the Walkway of Lights for free.

Family Night at Christmas City Walkway of Lights is Friday, December 8. On this special night, join us at the Garden House from 7-9pm for decorating cookies, a visit with Santa, decorating an ornament, roasting s’mores and visit with a real, live reindeer!

Converse Celebrations

  • On Thursday, December 7, celebrate at Christmas in Converse from 5-8pm. Shop local as Santa Claus make his grand entrance in a firetruck and Mrs. Claus reads Christmas stories. See an old movie at the Grainery. Ride in a horse drawn carriage. Take in the live Nativity at Rachel’s Taste of Indiana.

  • On Saturday, November 25, Santa will reappear at Let The Lights Shine on Main Street. Craft vendors, caroling and festive family activities will set the stage for the main event which is the twinkling parade of lights with Santa Claus as the grand marshall!

Grant County is your illumination destination this holiday season. While you’re here, visit other local communities decked out for the holidays. With Christmas City so close by, you’ll probably get lucky and run into Santa Claus, himself.
