Sounds of Summer

Sender Cafe of Marion 100 S. Washington St., Marion, Indiana

Fusion Arts Alliance presents Sounds of Summer! The event will be in Downtown Marion located at Sender Café during June, July, and August. There will be live music, arts, crafts, and food. Performing at 5:30 Sammy Kay and at 7:00 Unstoppable Sound.

Hog Daze Friday Night Entertainment

Grant County Fairgrounds 1403 E. State Road 18, Marion, IN

Free Concert at the Grant County Fairground. The Bionic Monks will take the stage at 7:30pm.

Safety First Time Trail

This event is not a speed event it is a race observing the county speed limit and all safe traffic regulations. Contestants will ride their own motorcycles through town. The winner will receive a check for $1,000. Second place will receive $500.00. Third place will get $250.00.

Cancer Prevention Bingo

Marion Health is hosting a free and educational bingo night at the Grant County Fairgrounds in the community building conference room. Each participant will receive a goodie bag for coming.

Janis Thornton-Author of ’65 Palm Sunday

Fairmount Public Library 217 S. Main Street, Fairmount, IN

The author of 1965 Palm Sunday, Tornados in Indiana, Janis Thornton will speak at the Fairmount Public Library. The book takes a look at Indiana's worst weather, and heartbreaking stories about the tornadoes and the people who experienced them.

The Moon Cats

Playacres Park 300 E. Madison St., Fairmount, IN

The Fairmount Lions Club hosts the Moon Cats. The free concert will be at Play Acres Park on the James Dean stage.
