This is a free event that highlights Christmas. Meal Donations and contest voting (penny a vote) is used to raise money to purchase Christmas gifts for Van Buren families and backpack meals for Eastbrook North students. There will be inflatables and laser tag on Saturday afternoon at a cost. Proceeds are donated to the above causes.Second day is Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00-8:00 PM. Inflatables and laser tag from 1:00-5:00 PM (Saturday only). Meal from 5:30-7:30 PM (Friday & Saturday). All other activities are from 6:00-8:00 PM both days.
Santa and Mrs. Claus enter town on the fire truck to light the large Christmas tree on First Street (across from library) at 5:45 PM on Friday only.
Other free activities include live nativity, live music, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, make children’s popcorn crafts, indoor snowball fight, shopping at Mama Duck’s Kitchen, Christmas tree decorating contest, horse carriage rides, children’s story time.
