With August and back-to-school in full swing, Labor Day is fast approaching. Now is a great time to make plans for this three-day weekend, and Grant County has some exciting options for the whole family!
Hosted by the Upland Lions Club, The Upland Labor Day Festival is three days of family fun, September 4 – 6. Bring your shades so you are not blinded by the shiny chrome and glossy paint jobs at the truck show and car cruise-in! Rummage through the garage sale items, and shop the craft vendors. Delight the kids at the midway carnival, pedal tractor pull, big wheel and tricycle races, and the apple crate derby! Move your feet to the beat with a variety of live music throughout the weekend. And, since it is the Lions Club, you know there will be great food at the pancake breakfast, ice cream social and the food vendor trailers and booths throughout the festival. Cap off the weekend on Labor Day with a parade honoring the American worker. With so many entertainment options and activities, The Upland Labor Day Festival is a great way to spend your holiday weekend.
