“Let the Music Move You” is a free educational concert especially designed to introduce 3rd and 6th grade school children of Grant County and surrounding counties to orchestral music. Other school grades are welcome to attend as space allows. Advance registration is required for all schools and home school groups.

As this concert is free and open to the public, anyone from the community is welcome to attend, but are requested to RSVP. Doors open at 9:30 am.

Under the direction of Dr. Chris Bade and Dr. Jason Thompson, this concert features the combined orchestras of Indiana Wesleyan University and Taylor University, side-by-side with members of Orchestra Indiana. The program will include lively works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Arturo Marquez, Handel, Stravinsky, and more. High school cellist Ethan Murphy from Bloomington, IN, will be a featured soloist. Ethan was the 2022 winner of the Steve Dingledine Senior Division of the Patricia Tretick Young Artist Competition.
